A LITTLE ABOUT ME

My name is Laura Mussolin, An ADHD creative since 1989, based in Vicenza. Like many artists, I’ve been drawing since I was a child, falling in love with art through meticulous comic book studies. I grew up on a steady diet of video games, platformers, and incredible worlds.

Although life initially led me down a different path—earning a degree in Education Sciences followed by years as a substitute teacher—I decided to take a turn at the age of 33. I picked up my pencil again in 2021 and started working professionally after graduating in Digital Illustration from the Dalí Arts Academy in Vicenza. Today, I work as a freelance illustrator and concept artist, while also creating personal artwork that I turn into prints for my shop.

That’s how Lamu Art was born: to reach people and bring a bit of my self-expression into your homes. I also create children’s book illustrations, editorial art, board games, and private commissions.

I love cats, tortellini, and colored pencils.
